TOMORROW: Select Committee to Hold Hearing on State Legislature Best Practices

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Chair Derek Kilmer (D-WA) of the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress announced that the Select Committee will hold a hearing on Wednesday, July 24th titled “Modernizing Legislative Information Technologies: Lessons from the States.”

WHAT:

The Select Committee will hold a hearing titled “Modernizing Legislative Information Technologies: Lessons from the States,” with top technology and legislative officers from the states of Washington, California, and Virginia. The witnesses will share best practices and ways they are using new technologies to improve access to legislative information, constituent engagement, and legislative processes.
